Parents and teachers relationship contributes to students’ success. A school is a place where constant interaction between students, teachers, and the management staff. Such kind of interaction happens on a special day called “Open Day” which allows parents to become aware of what is happening in the school. As usual, Al-Amjad International Schools provide a relaxed atmosphere for students ; thus, they held an open day for the students of English section on Wednesday, March 2. The open day was commenced by ceremonial parts. In the beginning, Quran was recited. Then a short welcoming speech was delivered by the deputy of the schools, T. Bakeel Eysa’a. After that, plenty of ceremonial parts and games such as tug-of-war that was between parents and students. There was an interesting part called “ACT FREE” in which students and teachers had the freedom to talk openly to each other. In addition, English accents part was full of delight, speaking about the differences between American and British accents. Then a humorous sketch was performed by the students of English section which shed light on how English language is important. After that, the part of linguistic mistakes that English learners commit and how we can fix them. In the end, the general principal of the schools, T. Aiman Al-Hashdi and the deputies, T. Bakeel Eysa’a and T. Aziz Mansour honored the perfect students and the ideal parents. Last but not least, the students had a barbecue in the yard of English section. Teachers and students ate with bliss. OUR DAY WAS FULL OF JOY.
